Rev. Fr. Wilson Mecheril MCBS has been appointed our new Assistant Chaplain.  He will be introduced on Sunday 9th September during the Holy Mass at Meidling and Stadlau Churches and taking in charge officially.

Fr. Wilson Mecheril (born 23 Feb 1980, at Elanji in Kerala, India) is a Catholic religious priest and a member of Missionary Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament(MCBS). He was ordained as a priest on 9 May 2011. He has served as the Co-ordinator to the Eucharistic Apostolate and the Manager of Promotions for Karunikan group of Publications. Founder of SOBB (Singing of the budding Beethovens) for nurturing the talented orphan Children and Author of many devotional Albums.

For the last 5 Years he was Assistant Parish-priest (Aushilfskaplan) in an Austrian Parish, Pfarre Groß-jedlersdorf, Vienna Archdiocese. For the singing Priest, Fr. Wilson Mecheril, music goes beyond religion, caste and creed. The blend of the divine music and ministry has added a new vision to the pastoral ministry. Fr. Wilson has been entertaining audiences with devotional, Indian classical and film music and has visited several countries for music programs. He had proved his competency in Music in the seminary days and was sent by the congregation for graduate and post-graduate studies to Swathi Thirunal Music Academy, Thiruvananthapuram. He came out with the first rank in music from Kerala University for Post graduation in Music (MPA). The singing priest is now pursuing his music ministry and doing his post-graduate studies and research in Church Music at Vienna-Austria.
